This wine has a nice ruby colour and a purple rim in the glass. On the nose, it has a very powerful and attractive bouquet with hints of cinnamon and excellent oaky aromas. Meaty and full bodied, this is a well rounded and elegant wine with a complex structure and perfect balance.
Bright purple in the glass. A complex bouquet that evokes dark berries and fruit cake along with a subtle minerality. Juicy palate-staining blackberry and bitter cherry flavors marry density and vivacity, firmed by strong mineral spine. Fresh and focused on the persistent finish, which repeats the spicy notes. 90-92 points Josh Reynolds
Ruby red in the glass. Very fruity and intense nose with hints of strawberry, blueberry, vanilla and a balsamic finish. On the palate it's well rounded and velvety with plenty of fruit and more savoury charachteristics on the mid-palate. A serious Rioja with great ageing potential.
Appealing concentration and poise suggests a wine with the ability to age. The nose is bright with aromas of kaffir lime and grapefruit. A generous palate reveals ripe citrus, stone fruit and lemongrass flavours balanced by crunchy acidity. Perhaps the hallmark of this vintage is its persistent finish rich with minerality.
