Description

Fermentation of destemmed grapes in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature between 28 – 30 ºC. Maceration for 15 days with continuous pumping over in order to achieve a good extraction of colour from the cap of skins.

Aged for 15 months in combined oak barrels. The staves are from American oak and the two tops are from French oak. Then aged for two years in the bottle.

BODEGAS LAN

With 72 hectares, Bodegas LAN produces a modern style of Rioja from predominantly Tempranillo, with Mazuelo and Graciano used for the single vineyard wines. Bodegas LAN was founded in 1972 and named after the initials of the three provinces in the Rioja designation of Origin: Logroño (now La Rioja), Álava and Navarra, located in the heart of Rioja Alta. A region, synonymous with tradition and prestige.

 

The pinnacle of the range, Culmen Reserva, achieved 96/100 points in ‘Wine spectator’, and the wines strikes a wonderful balance between the traditional and modern Rioja styles. Displaying great depth, maturity and complexity with well-balanced, integrated tannins.
