The small family Champagne House of Chartogne-Taillet in the village of Merfy, northwest of Reims has an enviable reputation. Philip and Elisabeth have recently passed over control to their son Alexandre - their wines are rightly gaining worldwide recognition. Alexandre's attention to detail shines through in the quality of the wine. He has recently returned to ploughing the vines by horse.
