Description

Old mill houses were once a common feature on the landscape of the valley, and La Cotte is one of the only original mills that remain. This artisanal workhouse was restored in 1989 by the Franschhoek Conservation Trust in association with our Franschhoek Cellar. Our Chenin Blanc pays homage this valued landmark.

Pineapple, fleshy peach, nectarine and honeysuckle aromas with notes of citrus and tropical fruit. The theme carries over on to the palate and finishes with a zesty freshness

Service and Cellaring Best served chilled at 6°C to 8°C for delicious easy drinking with or without food. Great with sushi, roast chicken, creamy pasta, veal schnitzels or fisherman’s pie. Optimally intended for enjoyment in the vibrant freshness of youth, yet may be cellared for up to 3 years from vintage.

Franschhoek Cellar

Franschhoek Cellar was originally a co-operative wine producer for a community of grape farmers in the magnificent Franschhoek Valley. Now operating as a private cellar, delivering fantastic quality wines with distinctive personality and character, which emphasises the grace and charm of their French Huguenot roots.
