Josh Scott In the way Allan is a pioneer, his son Josh, is an innovator and adventurer. He brings a creative mindset to traditional winemaking and has launched a number of exclusive drinks under his name. Orange Wine is a growing wine segment and a popular alternative to Rose. The lovely orange colour comes from extended maceration time (skin contact using white and red grapes). Made from a blend of 5 grapes. Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris (typical pink/grey in colour), Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Each component was harvested and fermented on its skins until the wine was dry (average of 21 days on skins, expect Pinot Noir, 3 days). The wine was blended, left to condition in tank before being prepared for bottling. Aromas of pear, apricot and strawberries.
