90% Tempranillo, 10% Mazuelo selected grapes from old vines located in Rioja Alavesa area.
Fermentation under controlled temperature between 28-30 ºC. Maceration for 15 days with continuous pumping over to obtain the best colour extraction.
Aged in American and French oak barrels for 18 months, followed by 20 months of bottle ageing.
Red cherry colour with ruby hints in the glass. Intense aromas of red matured fruits as well as notes of sweet spice from the oak maturation. Well balanced on the palate, very persistent and elegant finish.
Recommended with red and roasted meats, spiced dishes and cheeses.
