Background
The “Adega Camolas” is a family business, adjacent to the Arrábida Natural Park located on the Setubal Peninsula, south of Lisbon, and have been producing wines since the 70’s. The brand “Camolas” finds its origin using the founder’s family name, one of the most emblematic in the Setubal region region. The production of this red wine is the result of red local grapes Castelão and Aragones (or tempranillo) harvested from eight plots of their best vineyard as well as the grapes from small partners winegrowers based around Adega Camolas. The grapes are hand harvested in the early morning to preserve freshness and are vinified solely in stainless steel vats to retain the purity of fruit. a fantastic easy to drink, versatile red wine that will be perfect on his own or with food.
