Allan Scott Cecilia Vintage Sparkling
A white gold colour, this Blanc de Blancs has a fine mousse with distinctive lemon flavours and a light touch of tropical fruit, developing delightful honeycomb autolysis characteristics. Seductive on the palate, the seamless integration between the fruit concentration and the acidity makes for a mouthwatering finish with good length.
Allan Scott Cecilia Rose
A true Methode Traditionnelle, this Sparkling Rosé is made from 100% pinot noir grapes.
A subtle pink colour, Cecilia Rosé is a complex but elegant rosé. Dry, crisp and refreshing it is shows an array of wild summer fruits, such as ripe strawberries and raspberries.
Our friend, Allan Scott is one of the iconic figures in short history of the wine trade in Marlborough. As a viticulturalist, he was deeply involved in the first plantings of vineyards there for the two leading companies of the time, Corbans and Montana.
In 1990, he launched his own venture, using grapes from his own vineyards on the prestigious Jacksons road, opposite those of Cloudy Bay.
A true family affair, Allan still runs the company alongside wife Catherine (whose maiden name is Cecilia…) and their children.
