Fruit forward with earthy notes. Displays aromas of black and red fruits such as plums, black cherries, blueberries and blackberries. Such aromas are followed by notes of violets, aromatic herbs, thyme and rosemary, with balsamic hints that define the character and complexity of High altitude, cool climate Malbecs.
Light and pleasant mouthfeel with tasty and refreshing mid palate and vibrant acidity. Mid bodied with juicy tannins that provide strength and long finish. Fruity and spicy aftertaste with earthy tones.
Escorihuela Gascón’s Organic Vineyard line is a self-consciously modern venture from a traditional winery with a fresh new style and philosophy. Made with grapes from a biodynamic vineyard in El Cepillo, its complex nose is both fruity and floral. Intense and fluid with a chalky texture, it offers rich freshness and a medium body. The evocative finish lingers at length.- 94 pts Decanter Magazine. Tasted by Alejandro Iglesias (at Buenos Aires, 19 Oct 2020)
Drinking Window 2020 – 2028
Very, very spearminty on the nose. Also a little bit of anise-pungent Thai basil. Dry, herbal, savoury with slim but strong, tensile tannins. Certainly not a fruitbomb Malbec – more on the tapenade, black-olive, molle-leaf spectrum. Touch of bitterness on the finish. A wine for the table. (TC) Reviewer: Tamlyn Currin, JancisRobinson.com

Towards the end of the last century, Mr. Miguel Escorihuela Gascón, a passionate and determined visionary, created one of the most prestigious wine companies in the Republic of Argentina since 1884: Establecimientos Vitivinícolas Escorihuela. From the very beginning, his main objective was to achieve wines of the highest quality. Therefore, special attention was paid to the selection and care of grape varieties, the elaboration under traditional methods and the constant incorporation of technology, with a team of qualified Argentine professionals and the counselling of renowned foreign winemakers and technicians, which makes it possible to maintain a high level of international quality.
Thus, the winery developed throughout time, succeeding in placing its products in a privileged place both in the domestic and in the global markets on a constant basis, achieving a high level of customer loyalty, with consumers adopting our wines once and for all.
