Light and pleasant mouthfeel with tasty and refreshing mid palate and vibrant acidity. Mid bodied with juicy tannins that provide strength and long finish. Fruity and spicy aftertaste with earthy tones.
Escorihuela Gascón’s Organic Vineyard line is a self-consciously modern venture from a traditional winery with a fresh new style and philosophy. Made with grapes from a biodynamic vineyard in El Cepillo, its complex nose is both fruity and floral. Intense and fluid with a chalky texture, it offers rich freshness and a medium body. Very, very spearminty on the nose. Also a little bit of anise-pungent Thai basil. Dry, herbal, savoury with slim but strong, tensile tannins. 100% Malbec from Parcel 6 Finca El Cepillo, Valle de Uco (single vineyard, organic and biodinamic parcel wine).
Matured for 8 months in stainless steel tanks then 8 months of bottle aging before release.
Excellent to pair with red grilled meats, offal, hard cheeses and cold cuts.
