Background

Bodegas Marqués de Vizhoja is a family run company founded in 1968 by Mr. Mariano Peláez and currently operated by his sons, Jorge and Javier Peláez.

Situated to the west bank of the river Miño, in one of the sub-areas of the D.O. Rías Baixas, its almost 40 hectares of vineyards extend around the Pazo Torre la Moreira, a historical building of the XVIII century that stands tall amidst its vineyards, as an emblem of the winery.

Bodegas Marqués de Vizhoja combines the wine tradition with research and innovation to achieve excellence in every bottle of Albarino.

Food Pairing
