History
Our family tree attests that since 1647 the Pérard family has been working as a ploughman-winemaker:
Martin born in 16_ _, Jean in 1662, Martin 1708, Jean-Baptiste 1737, Jean-Eloy 1776, Nicolas-Martin 1800, Nicolas-Martin 1825, Martin-Félix 1848, Principe_Albert 1873, Edouard-Julien 1900, Jean-Paul 1939 , Patrick 1961, Virgil 1984…
The cradle of our ancestors was Cernay les Reims and it was Edouard-Julien who settled in Ambonnay to cultivate vines there in 1928.
Jean-Paul took up the torch in 1972 and turned to the marketing of Champagne.
Currently and since 1996, Patrick manages the operation. One of his sons, Virgile, after studying wine, has accompanied him for 16 years.
Four generations that we elaborate, in a traditional way, quality Champagnes in the respect of an ancestral know-how inherited from our elders.
