Made from fruit grown on the Williams family vineyard in Southern Coonawarra – located just behind the Parker Cellar Door – the grapes were picked at optimum ripeness. Fermentation took place in static fermenters before maturation in French oak followed by final blending and bottling.

Parker Coonawarra Estate

John Parker established Parker Coonawarra Estate in 1985, with the vision of producing the best possible Cabernet Sauvignon using the best clones, from the best sub-region of Australia’s premier red wine district.

Parker Estate was consequently established at the southern end of Coonawarra, on the rich terra rossa over limestone soils, using only original pre-phylloxera Cabernet Sauvignon clones from Bordeaux. The result has been nearly three decades of world class Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon with an outstanding ability to age.
