Tasting notes
1581 refers to our 16th century Grade 2 listed barn nestled at the foot of the vineyard.
White castle vineyard have produced a fortified welsh wine boasting a deep ruby colour in the glass with fragrant brambley aromas and a rich, round and smooth finish.
Wine making
The grapes were hand harvested in October 2015, and the juice fermented in stainless Steel vats before the aging in Oak Barrels.
Food notes
A perfect accompaniment with Cheese, after dinner or alongside dessert.
