For the past thirty years or so Australia has been at the forefront of the sales of New World wines on the British market An ideal climate and wine availability of land for planting meant that it was able to satisfy the ever-increasing demand for wines with fruit and flavour at a low price-point. As a result they came to dominate our supermarket shelves. Now the situation has somewhat altered; the rise in the value of the Australian dollar, means that their wines have become less competitive at the bottom end of the market. The happy result of this is that now more attention is being focussed on the different wine-producing regions and the better wines that they produce.
We have a put together a fantastic range from Tyrrell’s in the Hunter Valley, De Bortoli from Yarra Valley, Tamar Ridge in Tasmania and the sought after Torbreck wines from Barossa, old favourites are Pierro from the Margaret River and the Willows Estate in the Barossa Valley.

Ripe fruit and passionfruit comes through the nose and on to the palate. Overall a wine that is bursting with gentle, mouthfilling fruit flavours while leading to a finish that is crisp and refreshing.
A strongly perfumed Pinot style evocative of black cherries with hints of violets and even a touch of ginger spice. The finish combines fine tannins and firm acidity but the overall impression is of the soft lingering flavours making this a very easy drinking style.

Fresh, crisp and appealing with lots of zesty, citrus lime and lemon fruit. The palate is long and well defined, boasting grapefruit and 'wet stone' minerality. The finish is long and shows crisp acidity.
