Aged in oak barrels for at least 12 months. Deep ruby red colour, intense and persistent. This wine is characterized by fruity notes of cherry, followed by delicate spicy notes of black pepper. On the mouth is full, harmonious, dry, sapid flavour, slightly tannic.

Musar Jeune Red is an unoaked blend of Cinsault, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon from youthful Bekaa Valley vines. Meant for current consumption – within a few years of the harvest – this deeply-coloured, vividly fruity style, first produced in 2007, may yet prove to be a ‘keeper’. Inky-dark, silky-textured and aromatic, with blackcurrant, raspberry and cherry jam flavours and a warm, spicy finish, it has been likened to a fine Roussillon red.
100 % Tempranillo aged in American oak for 2 years. Ripe cherry-red colour with a ruby edge, good depth of colour. On the nose it is notable for its fragrance and complexity, with aromas of red and black fruit (blackcurrant and blackberry) together with notes of cedar and mild toasty hints.

The variety is a reference and a perfect example of the actual debate between warm and cool climate. The mouth is a true mirror of the aromatic fan, but still very young nowadays and will ask more time to fully express itself. However, the balance is already well present trough a rich, dense and juicy texture, armed by a deep and precise frame of small fine tannins giving depth and strength.
Aromas of red fruits, cherry and strawberry are blended with the notes of vanilla and spice from the oak. Liquored cherries and black pepper on the palate with a well-structured and fleshy finish.
The rich aroma is typical of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo grape varieties. Aromas of red and black berry fruit, green coffee beans, liquorice and the characteristic vanilla and leather notes from ageing. On the palate the wine is full and silky with dense, well-structured tannins.

Vinification: Nocturnal harvest, with selective sorting. Individual plot selection. Cold pre-fermentation maceration. Long maceration. 12 months maturation in barrels (1/4 new).
Tasting: A lovely balance between richness and finesse. Rich body softened by subtle flavours and tannins. This wine is a teddy bear. Strong and powerful with a great sensitivity and an unctuous and transparent texture.

Food pairing: Red meats, game, cheese (eg. St Nectaire), chocolate
A blend of Garnatxa and Samsó. On the nose it presents an intense and elegant aroma of ripe red fruit and jam, with hints of anise, delicate touches of new oak and mineral notes. In the mouth is well-rounded, pleasant, lingering and powerful. Long finish which brings out its special spicy character.
