Château du Seuil Graves white wine is a blend of approximately 70% of the Semillon variety and 30% Sauvignon Blanc, The Semillon is partially fermented in new French oak barrels using the OXOLINE system and bottled 6-9 months after the harvest. It is a wine that will develop interesting flavours with bottle age and will keep for up to 10 years. The wine is of an appealing golden colour, has a fresh aromatic bouquet, is full and fruity with a long aftertaste.
Lying across river from Sancerre, Pouilly is home to benchmark Loire Sauvignon Blanc.
Balanced with ripe citrus notes, hints of freshly mown grass and hallmark minerality, it’s perfectly suited to all kinds of seafood, or recipes featuring goat’s cheese or asparagus.
The vineyards are planted exclusively with Chardonnay and produce dry white wines, clear, bright and light. Domaine bottled, this is an elegant dry white with aromas of ripe fruit and a full body giving a classic finish, perfect with smoked salmon or oysters.
Characteristic pale golden colour. A seductive mineral nose with some white flower notes. Medium bodied with crisp acidity and good minerality, ending with a fruity citrus finish. A classic white Burgundy offering great value.
