Grenache, Mataro and Shiraz are three of the great red grape varieties that are cornerstone to the Barossa's red winemaking pedigree. A traditional style using classic Barossa grape varieties, we looked for structure and integration of flavours.
Colour: Opaque crimson red with red-brick hues
Aroma: Lifted red fruit aromatics with a hint of sweet spice andcherry pastilles
Palate: Rich and densely flavoured with bright, expressive redfruit notes and wisps of toasted vanilla. Fine tanninsgive way to a persistent, moreish finish. Wellbalanced, juicy style of Shiraz.
Food Match: Roasted longhorn sirloin with potato dauphinois andsteamed greens.
A strongly perfumed Pinot style evocative of black cherries with hints of violets and even a touch of ginger spice. The finish combines fine tannins and firm acidity but the overall impression is of the soft lingering flavours making this a very easy drinking style.

Fresh, crisp and appealing with lots of zesty, citrus lime and lemon fruit. The palate is long and well defined, boasting grapefruit and 'wet stone' minerality. The finish is long and shows crisp acidity.
