The proximity of the Cérons appellation to the river Garonne is the reason why such high quality sweet whites are made here. A Semillon based sweet wine that exhibits a nose of ripe apricots and honey with a rich palate and racy, palate cleansing acidity.
Château du Seuil Graves white wine is a blend of approximately 70% of the Semillon variety and 30% Sauvignon Blanc, The Semillon is partially fermented in new French oak barrels using the OXOLINE system and bottled 6-9 months after the harvest. A forward-drinking Bordeaux which can be enjoyed now but with sufficient structure to age up to 10 years.' - Jonathan, Retail Manager.

The medium-bodied 2011 Lynch Bages possesses a saturated ruby/purple color as well as beautiful creme de cassis notes, a generous, concentrated, well-made, medium to full-bodied style and supple tannins. A successful effort in 2011, it should be drinkable in 3-4 years and last for 15+. It is a sleeper of the vintage.
