The vast southern French Languedoc region has some ideal spots for growing the finicky Pinot Noir grape.

This elegant salmon pink Rosé immediately presents luscious strawberries and cream on the nose. Those bright berries, meet with stonefruit on the palate with a medium dry finish. When the aromas of chocolate self-saucing pudding and local Marlborough black cherries hit the nose – you’ll be taken back to when your Grandma used to bake the delicious pudding for dessert when you were young. The sweet fruit character of the cherries matches perfectly with the grippy bitterness of the pure cocoa. The palate gives the impression of black Doris plum jam with a toasty oak texture, the drying of the tannins mixes wonderfully with finely balanced spices and fresh acidity you get in a quality homemade jam.
A strongly perfumed Pinot style evocative of black cherries with hints of violets and even a touch of ginger spice. The finish combines fine tannins and firm acidity but the overall impression is of the soft lingering flavours making this a very easy drinking style.
