Full Body

Château Patris is located on the southern slopes of the slopes of Saint-Emilion, in the extension of Château Angelus. As such, it benefits from a natural shelter against cold winds and exceptional sunshine that promotes a perfect maturation of the grapes.

It includes nearly 11.5ha hectares planted mainly with merlot (75%) and then cabernet sauvignon (15%) and cabernet franc (10%).

The combination of these three grape varieties gives the wine a remarkable finesse and a flexibility very appreciated by consumers.

Cultural practices leave nothing to chance and the same requirement prevails in the vineyard as in the cellar. Manual harvesting in small crates makes it possible to obtain and guarantee an impeccable fruit on the qualitative level. The winemaking combines tradition and modernity, exploiting to the maximum the potential offered by vintages.

Michel, Geneviève, Emmanuel Querre and their team are looking to produce a deep Saint-Emilion, with a velvety but well-structured texture. The use of new barrels always ensures respect for the fruit.
