Vibrant fruits are balanced by a freshness that is distinctly Cloudy Bay in style. As well as being a delightful wine to sip now, this zesty, well-balanced sauvignon blanc will cellar well.
Cloudy Bay was established in 1985 by David Hohnen, a pioneer and visionary, who was convinced of New Zealand wines’ great potential. The winery was among the first five to be established in Marlborough, the country’s finest wine region, and is now highly regarded for the superlative quality and consistency of its wines. Thirsty years later, Cloudy Bay remains one of New Zealand’s most recognised winery and Sauvignon Blanc is the Estate’s flagship grape variety.
This wine will bring perfect balance to a rich and flavorful dish of fresh shellfish and pan roasted fish dishes
Review by Bob Campbell MW:
“Intense and quite weighty sauvignon blanc with passionfruit, lime zest, gooseberry, red and green capsicum and subtle oyster-shell flavours, supported by deliciously tangy acidity that drives a lengthy finish.”

James Suckling Review by Nick Stock:
“A fresh, creamy-textured white with lots of freshness and lovely pear and green-apple character. Some white pineapple. It’s medium-bodied with crisp acidity and a flavourful finish. Less herbs and more clean, ripe fruit.”
