Tasting notes
This white Rioja from Marques de Caceres is of limited production with a complex bouquet disclosing fresh fruit, grapefruit, pears and spice. Lees and barrel-ageing give the wine added depth and intensity, without compromising the all important fruit characters.
Background
This limited edition white Rioja from Marques de Caceres is fermented on its fine lees, reveals an intense and complex bouquet of apples and white peaches with a depth of mature pears and refined toasted notes. Made from 10,8 hectares of vineyard parcels planted with old vine-stocks of Viura. Unique and full in the mouth with splendid character and an exquisite finish. Antea is fermented on its lees for 2 months in new French oak barrels to add complexity to the vivacity derived from the fruit. The wine is then clarified and bottled.
