Manzanilla sherries are the driest sherries, they are made in the port city of Sanlúcar de Barrameda within the provence of Cadiz. Famous for the slightly salty tang that’s a consequence of the Flor yeast layer that grows on the surface of the wine and also prevents it from oxidisation, Manzanilla sherry is best served chilled and treated like a white wine.
Wonderfully fresh with a hint of sea salt tang. The palate has green tart apple notes and a slight nutty character. Well defined acidity makes this one of the freshest sherries available.
