Oude Kaap, meaning Old Cape, captures the journey of the intrepid traveller, who ventured between Europe and the East on the spice route in 17th Century. Several of these travellers fell in love with the landscape and natural abundance of the Cape and in turn made South Africa their home. Oude Kaap captures this journey through the romantic heritage of Cape Dutch architecture and successfully combines centuries old tradition with modern technology. Our wines are made in an careful manner, with the utmost care to produce wines respectful of the grapes they were made from.
